Nothing special about this neighborhood pizza/pasta joint. Went there with my dad and had some not so memorable items that weren't particularly flavorful. Regardless, it was friendly and pretty cheap, but not necessarily where you go for a really good dining experience.

Food is good but way too greasy i no its a pub/pizza place but on weekends the bar gets really crazy and the way the food sounds on the menu doesn't taste like its ok would expect more from a pub side place..

For the sake of full disclosure, I didn't eat at Sole D'Italia - I was at the bar next door, which I gather is called Papa Nick's Tavern. It was a good time, enough TVs to watch the Nats and Caps simultaneously and enough room to get obnoxious and drunk without bumping your elbows into other tables and patrons. Had some Sam seasonal from the tap plus some Jager. Didn't pay too much for that plus chicken, bacon, and spinach pizza, which was definitely on point. It was my first time in there, but there seemed to be a lot of regulars yet also a mixed crowd. This was a Thursday night so I imagine it would be even livelier on a weekend night. Friendly atmosphere, decent prices, ample parking. If you feel like going out and being social but don't feel like getting superfly, head here.

I don't know what everyone else is talking about... the food is delicious here. They've got maybe my favorite wings out of every place I've been. They're naked, good-sized wings with pretty juicy meat and lots of sauce. The 'Wicked' sauce is much hotter than any other buffalo sauce I've had (coffin sauce from BWB is the only hotter one but no longer offered and maybe cluck-u wings but that's not real buffalo wings). Get it with an order of fries (w/ old bay) and you'll be loving it! I'm not sure if they still have half-off subs on Mondays, but even if they don't, soles makes a mean steak and cheese sandwich. This is the next best thing on the menu in my opinion. My favorite steak and cheese around. Be sure to get a lot of the red peppers and mayo! As for the pizza, everyone else seems to not like it very much... but it's actually pretty decent. It's hard to mess up pizza, unless you're Domino's, lol. They seem to have problems getting it right even after they changed their sauce. But anyway... yeah, I like to get bacon, beef and jalapeno peppers. The beef here isn't all big like other places that serve their beef like sausages; it's small and cut up. The bacon is also all cut up into small pieces rather than large strips. On Tuesdays, they'll serve half-off pizza but cash only. The service is pretty good. They same girls have been working the counter for the past like 5 years. They're quick and really nice. There's a whole new layout inside now too, more modern, newer tvs, and cleaner looking. and I can't forget to mention that they have keno, horse racing, and the megamillions lottery machine! Tons of fun! Until you go broke, lol.

It had been quite some time since I last visited Sole D'Italia, but with Beyonce's power-outage inducing halftime show looming and me attending a potluck, I figured I should test out the wings before the big game. While the wings had dropped off a bit, the pizza was very different. Food - if you read my reviews, you know I love wings and I love a good bargain, so as usual I'll break down the wings per unit cost. # of wings Price Unit Price (rounded) 10 $9.50 $0.95 20 $19.00 $0.95 30 $28.50 $0.95 60 $57.00 $0.95 100 $95.00 $0.95 Notice something there? Unlike just about every other purveyor of the almighty chicken wing, there's no volume discount. The wings weren't nearly as meaty as I remember but the sauces are still good. The wicked is roughly the heat of Nuclear at Cluck-U, i.e., spicy but not painfully so. The cajun teriyaki is good but not very spicy, and the golden BBQ is a mustard-based BBQ sauce that is very, very good, but a tad sweet to eat in large quantities. At $0.95 a pop, I think these wings are pretty expensive for what you get but still a great option if you're not in the mood for the wings from the major pizza chains or want a greater variety of flavors. Note: $0.50 charge for mixing your sauces - you can mix in increments of 10. The main reason for the 2 star rating is the pizza. I thought it may have been an off day, so I went again, only to have the same result. The taste of the pizza is on par with the major chains but the pricing of the pizza is more on the level of gourmet pizza, a la Matchbox or 2 Amy's, e.g., medium combo (basically their version of supreme or the works) is $15.75 for a 12" medium. Sure coupons can be had if you're in the area, but $20+ for a large pie sets a certain level of expectation for me. Is Domino's good? Not really. But with $5 sales commonly advertised, I don't really expect it to be. If you come on Tuesday's, when all pizzas are 1/2 off, or if you have a good coupon, Sole D'Italia's pizza is acceptable. Location - Sole D'Italia is the restaurant; Papa Nick's (next door) is the bar. The bar has wing specials on Wednesday, I believe. There are several large TVs and older arcade games in the corner. Service - friendly but the wings sure do take some time to cook. All in all, not a bad option if you're in the mood for pizza and wings on the right days.

This is a preliminary review, we may give the place another chance. My family and I ordered delivery from here last night and were frankly unimpressed. My wife and oldest daughter ordered pasta, I had a sub with fries and my youngest daughter had pizza. Only the pizza was a hit. The pasta dishes were described as "oily" and "bland". My meatball sub was ok, if nothing to write home about. As far as it being a "large", it was five meatballs and probably an 8" sub. I paid extra for fries and the pasta was supposed to have salads. We received no fries and no salads. Long and short is that I'm not sure whether we'll try them again or not. There's good pizza, wings and sandwiches to be had elsewhere. We were hoping this would fill a void for Italian delivery food, but neither of my family members was impressed enough to even finish the food they received. Coupled with it being expensive for pasta, I can't recommend this place.

Good quick Italian fare. Would definitely come back. White pizza was a real hit. Calzone and meatball subs were very good

I've been coming to this place since it opened. (I was a very young child then) It has been in the same family since the opening. In all honesty, in the 35+ years I've been coming here, I've never actually eaten anything other than pizza. I live almost an hour away now, but I still try to come every Saturday. The pizza is the best I've ever had. It ruins everything else for me since I've not found anything even close. I introduced my wife to this pizza and she is crazy about it. The crust is superb. I actually order mine well done as I like a crispy crust. I avoid Tuesday nights. Yeah, the pizza is half price, but it is so packed, that I'd rather pay a little more so that I can guarantee I get a table. I've introduced numerous people to this place.

I had bought a living social deal online for delivery of nearby restaurants. I chose this restaurant and had the cheesy breadsticks with the all meaty pizza. What ever you do, DO NOT GET this pizza. It is extremely greasy and salty. I had only half a piece of pizza and had to stop. Their breadsticks are OKAY, pretty greasy as well and do not expect them to be the best you have ever had. Overall, my first impression was horrible and I would not try giving this place another try with something else on the menu.

  • Juile T.

I have only had the pizza here and it is absolutely amazing. Probably one of the best I have had (and yes I have eaten a lot of pizza in my lifetime). We used to live around the corner and we would get delivery every week. I really miss this place!

Sole's is the local spot. If you went to Kennedy high school you were there every Tuesday night with a huge group of friends. They have pizza 1/2 off on Tuesdays if you purchase a reg size drink. & Monday nights it's 1/2 off subs- best steak n cheese around. (other than Jerry's that is) The pizza, their salads, subs & their wings are very very very good. They have a bar attached to Sole's, I have never actually been inside but it is ALWAYS packed.

This place is really close to my house so kudos for that already...not the most eye appealing place but the food is amaz-balls!!! I had an Italian sandwhich and it was so flavorful and great portion size! Staff are friendly too

Went here after visiting the trolley museum. Service was friendly and the food tasty. Portions are very large just like the server warned us.

Good joint with your basic italian foods like pizza & Pasta, but also great bar food like wings, Cheesesteaks, etc... The pizza used to taste MUCH better back in high school... but that said, its one of the tastier local pizza joints I've ever had. They have an EXCELLENT bread/sauce&Cheese Ratio. It's our family's default Order-out-pizza place!

Do they purposely ignore customers of color? I'm hoping the pizza will be better than their customer service! Or lack thereof. I can't believe I stood at the counter for over 5 minutes before any staff looked in my direction or talked to me! No welcome or greeting. It made me wonder if they only greet white customers... and ignore minorities! Looking around the restaurant I noticed I was the only person of color inside. They "discourage" the use of credit cards on Tuesday. Better advertising is needed so patrons know that information PRIOR to paying for their food.

First review of 2015 and I wish it could be a more positive review, but an honest opinion is an honest opinion. Sole D'Italia... much different from what I remembered... way back in 1987. Back then, this was the place to be. I remember it like yesterday, everyone from school came here after classes were out to line their quarters for Street Fighter 2 in a "winner stays" competition. If you weren't playing that, you'd be chugging pitchers of soda and scarfing down some awesome loaded pizzas. From what I remember, albeit I was only 7 years old at that time, the toppings were big and fresh, unlike what you would get at Pizza Hut or Little Ceasars, which dominated pizza back then. Fast forward to the present, over two and a half decades later, the nostalgia was bitter-sweet. Stepping in, the atmosphere was just as I remembered, which isn't a good thing. The decor looked like I was back in the 80s. Street Fighter has now been replaced with an iTunes juke box and an outdated Tekken Tag lays rest in a lonely corner by the entrance. What changed since '87 is that they expanded, which is a bar I believe, which I did not venture over to. The ambiance is slightly depressing to me and could use a face lift. Now, the food. Ordered a Combo Pizza (size doesn't matter (wish that was what she'd say)), Fish and Chips, and a Philly Cheese Steak. The pizza was dry and the onions were practically raw. It wasn't cheesy and was lacking any pizzas a pizza should have. It literally tasted and very much looked like a pizza warmed up in a microwave from 2 nights ago. I'd rather eat a chain pizza any day over this. Fish and Chips. Fish, greasy, as if the oil wasn't hot enough, but quite dark, which lets me think that the oil hasn't been changed out for awhile. The chips, or otherwise known as "French Fries", were stale and not crispy at all, which gave an extremely starchy mouth-feel. Philly Cheese Steak was okay. Rather small, but was at least juicy and well seasoned. An okay amount of meat and toppings. Overall, I was very disappointed with my revisit of over 2.5 decades ago. This establishment has been around for quite some time, which is more than I can say about a lot of pizza restaurants, so they must be doing something right. But, whatever it is, I didn't experience it.

Forget able food. Takes forever to get that food. No thanks. I'll go to pizza stop in the shopping center next door!

As always I'll speak of my experience, went here one night to sit down and it was too busy where there was a wait. I figured wow, a local Layhill place like this in a smaller shopping plaza is hopping so much that there's a wait.....pretty cool. I went back and got delivery. A pizza and some wings, the delivery guy was either incompetent. Or he decided to take our pizza and wings and throw them around the car for 20 minutes for his enjoyment. Got it and there was wing sauce all over the bag from being tossed around and the pizza had cheese stuck to the box and was all over the place. I guess be careful if you're getting delivery, otherwise it looks like a good place to dine in.

From other reviews and our recent experience, it seems service is slipping at Sole D'Italia. My husband ordered a chicken cheese steak to go and the counter person said they didn't have such a thing. Husband said we'd gotten them there before. Pretty soon counter person comes out and hands husband "our order". When he got it home it was a cold roll with a few slices of cold meat and a couple of sad tomatoes. I ended up having to totally remake it into a cheese steak sandwich. Next time I'm craving cheese steak we'll go down the road to Stained Glass.

Unreal. *Beware* This review mainly goes out to the management team out at Sole D'Italia. They DESPERATELY need to train their staff on how to receive phone calls and on proper delivery etiquette. I would even also suggest that the management team learn how to better interface with customers as whoever the manager on duty at the time of this incident was is the "Sole" reason for this grievance. I had had positive experiences before with this restaurant however after this incident, I nor my family/friends/anyone that I know, will no longer be a patron at this establishment. It was a quiet weekday evening when I called Sole D'Italia to order some pizza/sliders. The girl on the phone seemed new and wasn't sure on what offers/deals that the place currently had..not a big deal as I get it, everyone is new at some point. My issue here is that we were given wrong information and were led to placing an order that we did not want/understand. And of course when confronted about the interaction, none of the employees wanted to own up to this simple mistake which lead to more frustration. Strike number one. Once the delivery guy showed up to the house, we quickly found out that the bill was grossly much more than what we were told over the phone..please see the previous paragraph for details. Here's were strike number two occurs: as I hand the delivery guy $40 to make change with much discomfort after we had expressed everything that had happened (The original amount was supposed to be under $30), the delivery guy immediately pocketed the money and without saying a word turned tail and ran to the car and drove away..where was the question of "Do you need change" at? I'm pretty sure whenever I order anything from anywhere else I'm asked that question and politely met with an a smile. Is this too much from your disrespectful drivers? That was strike two. Strike three. Once all was said and done, we had phoned in to speak with the manager about our experience. After speaking back and forth with the manager trying to get some kind of refund back for the order, we were met with cursing and a very unprofessional demeanor until I realized that I was getting nowhere on the phone and just hung up. Unbelievable. Simply put, Sole D'Italia is an integrity-free zone when it comes to operating and I will not be back!!!!

Sole's is a classic for me. I have been eating it from a very young age. Their pizza is really good! I love getting pineapple and bacon pizza. It is a weird combo but it is absolutely delicious. Their white pizza is my absolute favorite. There is no better white pizza in the world than Sole's, I guarantee it. It has a great garlicky taste to it. The crust is superb. Delivery is always pretty quick and they haven't ever been late for me.

Among the worst restaurants in Maryland. Wildly over-priced, TINY portions, and, worst of all, dishonest managers. Avoid at all costs.

Sole D'talia has been here for decades. It used to be a dumpy restaurant, but they remodeled and it looks better. You order at the counter and wait for them to call your number. You can get beverages at the fountain or get bottles from the refrigerator. The pizza is surprisingly good. The crust, sauce, and cheese taste almost as good as a New York pizza. The other food is more average. Pasta dishes are okay but nothing special. I think their entrees used to come with salads, but they don't anymore. Four stars for the pizza, two or three for the other food.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this place after reading the mixed bag of reviews here. It was busy during our visit. I ordered the lasagna. The salad was huge and fresh. The lasagna was a very generous portion as well. I loved the garlic bread. My friend ordered the eggplant Parmesan. He was pleased with it. Another generous portion. The music from the jukebox was a little too loud. They do not have table service, but the nice lady behind the counter delivered our food to us. I will be returning. I recommend the place.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I recently placed an order from here for delivery. It took way over a hour for the food to come; only for them to forget my 5 year old's kid pizza. When I called them back, I was told it will take 30-40 mins for the pizza to be delivered. I'm livid I spent over $60 on TERRIBLE food and customer service. I ordered: -Chicken Parmesan made with frozen chicken breading of chicken had absolutely no flavor one slice of provolone cheese split in half for two pieces of chicken -Calamari shaped like onion rings overcooked and rubbery -Mini Burgers frozen beef patties overcooked and rubbery buns hard as rocks -Lamb Gyro decent at best I wish I could give this place zero stars.

I ordered delivery recently and after waiting for an hour and 20 minutes, I called to find out what happened. They told me that the driver was back and the food had already been delivered even though it hadn't. I asked for a refund and, because I ordered online, they told me that I needed to call up some company that processes their payments. Instead they offered to remake the food and deliver. Not wanting to deal with the hassle of a calling a 3rd party I agreed to have them deliver again. About 5 minutes later the delivery guy arrived with cold pizza. It is too bad because I've ordered several times before and it's been really good, but an hour and a half + being given the run around pretty much supersedes all that.

Horrible experience here. I was raised going to this place and always loved the atmosphere and the pizza. I was just there and had a terrible experience. We had a party and the manager promised a discount of 20%. When I went to pay the bill, they would not honor it and threatened to call the police on me in front of my children. They would not call the manager and called me a liar. Very disappointing customer service from a place I have been going to for 30 years. Pizza was also bland and flavorless, wings were marginal, and the atmosphere has lost all of the magic that it used to have of being a nice family spot. I had to beg to get a pitcher of water for the group. I will never go back. I hope they can get their act together and restore this place to what it used to be. In the meantime, hit Pizza Stop in the shopping center right behind them. Way better pizza and service!!!

Been here a few times, and each time the workers welcome us once we enter the restaurant and help us find seating. It's usually quite peaceful when we go, not too busy. The food comes out great, and the waiters are very attentive and friendly. I always get either the pasta or wings when I come so I recommend anybody to try either.

I've been here a couple of times hoping that my experience will improve. So far I've been disappointed. I have yet to order the pizza but have ordered various pasta dishes, the deep fried ravioli, salad, cheesy garlic bread and calamari. The fried dishes were beyond greasy and everything else was fairly mediocre. Basically, this place is very overpriced for the quality you get. Of all the things I've ordered, the only thing I've been truly satisfied with was the soda.

  • M B.

I ordered a sub, a pasta and a small pizza from Sole D'Italia. I should have taken it as a sign when the driver forgot the pizza and had to go back and get it. In the meantime, the pasta was not very saucy, and the chicken was thrown on top as if it was an after thought. I could have gotten a better frozen one at Giant. When the pizza finally came, it was cold and probably the smallest pizza I had ever seen. They really should call it "personal". The pizza dough was like cardboard, and the pizza itself was hard. No wonder, since he had to make another trip. I found the restaurant pricey for what we got. I won't be ordering from them again.

Sole D'Italia is Americana. Period. If somebody from across the ocean wanted to come here to experience Americana, they should go to Sole D'Italia. This pizza joint is a dying breed, a family owned neighborhood hangout that hasn't been replaced by a Peruvian charcoal chicken place or a Salvadorean pupuseria. I remember lazy boyhood summers grabbing slices of pizza and playing that new Pac-Man game that everybody was raving about. All the while white trashy looking adults wearing baseball caps downed pitcher after pitcher of beer all around me. Beautiful suburban gloom. I hadn't been back here in decades but still retained those childhood memories. So recently, when I heard the words "birthday party", "Sole D'Italia", "half prize pizza", I was all like Oh Em Gee, I am so there. The John Deere crowd is still there dispatching pitchers of Bud. Pac-Man's gone but they have an authentic Galaga machine (!) gathering dust in one dark corner. Next time, I have to bring quarters! The food? The pizza is ridiculously good! At 1/2 price for our rather large group, we ordered three different pizzas....a white pizza, a pepperoni and one with sausage, peppers and mushrooms. The white and pepperoni really stood out. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients. There's a full bar next door and you can bring your drinks to the restaurant part. There's no wait staff so you have you grab your own drinks, sides, pizzas. Sole D'italia is an experience everybody in the DC area should experience. This restaurant should be a UNESCO Heritage Site.

Solid restaurant at good prices. Steak and cheese, pizza, baked lasagna, baked ziti are all favorites for me. Been eating here for years. Some folks congregate at bar and play darts and pool. Seem to be many people who hang out regularly as local pub style.

    (4)
  • Cameron H.

I wish I could give it a higher ranking, but the truth is that it has consistently not been very good. They must not strain their pasta at all because the pasta dishes came back so watery and waterlogged that they were almost inedible. The pizza is pretty much mediocre and this place is not really worth a visit.

    (2)
  • Jackie W.

I always order delivery from this place and I haven't had any bad experiences yet! This is a restaurant specialized in pizza mainly although they do offer a wide variety of different foods! I recommend the wings (Garlic Parmesan) the spinach artichoke dip, and of course a pizza with your choice of toppings! I also love that this place has desserts to choose from! The prices for each selection are a bit above average for the amount of food you get for delivery. I haven't sat and ate at this restaurant before but I hope to do so one day soon! All in all this restaurants covers just about all the food choices that you may have a taste for! I give them four stars!!

I've been coming to Sole since I was in 8th grade. It's changed owners over the years, and sadly they've removed "Revolution X" from the video games in the front, but it's still exactly as I remember it. The pizza is absolutely top-notch. Some of the best in Montgomery County. If you're a first-timer, go for the "Combo" pizza. It's a little piece of heaven. They have half-price pizza every Tuesday, but if you're afraid of crowds it's easy enough to find coupons for any other day of the week. If pizza's not your game, the subs and cheesesteaks are just as good. The mozzarella sticks also never failed to impress. Sole, I'll always love you. Please bring back Revolution X.

This place leaves a lot to be desired. The pizza dough's texture was soggy and flavorless. The toppings weren't cooked properly and tasteless. I really wanted it to be great after having many fundraisers there when I was in high school, but was left with just a fond memory and now the harsh truth about this place.

Half price pizza gets the place packed every Tuesday night. The attached bar, Papa Nick's, has random deals running through the week. There's occasionally music or a DJ or karaoke or something. This place just reminds me of the good old days of getting pizza on Tuesdays as a kid.

My family and I have gone here numerous times in the past year and I've had both great experiences and a few not so great experiences. But the food is very good, not the most nutritious but like the Italian grandma you never had would have made them. Their sandwiches(Philly cheese and subs are so good!) and burgers are great and filling, the pizza is pretty good (my favorite has 3 different meats), the pastas are heavy but tasty I like the fettuccine carbonara which is creamy and has ground beef and sausage, I add shrimp to it btw. But the family favorite, hands down is the wings...you have to try the golden flavored wings, you just can't stop until its gone. They have daily specials that are so worth it so check those out. Take your family to the Sole D'Italia side or hang out at the bar on the Papa Nick's Tavern side. At first when you start coming here, it may not be the best experience it seems like if you are a first timer they dont give a good first impression but give them a chance, and you start to get to know them and they literally become almost like family. Like every (restaurant)relationship, it gets better with time. Oh and every issue that myself and my family has had, they actually listened and fixed every single one of them. How can you go wrong with that?

Soles is the best pizza place around. I remember when I was a little kid we used to do 1/2 price pizza every single tuesday. And i remember riding the bus home and I couldnt wait to get home for that pizza! A local family owns the 2 restaurants in Ashton and Layhill. The family is super nice and always friendly. The wings are also one of my favorite things to eat at Soles. My favorite is Scary/Cajun Well done or Spicy Teryaki! I think getting them well done makes them so much better! Also they serve food until late at night through the bar so if you craving a pizza at 11;30 all you have to do is call it in and pick it up! The bar serves beer and liquor plus the bartenders are all really hot (males and females!!) Great place to go for football season! Lots of specials and fun people. Also on Mondays they have buy one get one free subs! Try the steak and cheese I know thats very popular, but I prefer the chicken cheese steak because Im not a steak fan! Soles is also a good spot for teams like baseball, softball, swimming, and basketball. All in all it is an excellent restaurant. Props to Phi N. who posted pictures. I will have to remember to do that! It all looks soo good!

Ew. We just got home with our Sole DItalia take out. DO NOT EAT HERE. My large dinner salad was a side salad consisting of old brown lettuce with some black gunk throughout (older lettuce?) My husbands buffalo chicken salad is pretty much chicken and a few pieces of lettuce soaked in buffalo sauce..gross. The kids pasta was about five bites worth. Seriously. Grab some nasty food at 7-11 across the parking lot instead...youll be doing yourself a favor and saving lots of money.

My family has been coming to this restaurant for 30+ years. I can't review anything other than the pizza because I have never wanted to eat anything other than their pizza. It is my favorite pizza in the area. Period. Go in on a Tuesday, which is half price pizza day, and judge for yourself.

My favorite pizza place! I was a regular for years before moving out of state. I always get them when I return for visits. Would have been 5 stars, but their pizza is very pricey now. I still need my fix though.

2.5 stars. I like to call this place "Lost Souls de Italia." Have you ever entered a bar and you can all but taste the sense of despair? or as my friend likes to say, the people are "broke down"? That would be "Lost Souls de Italia." The food is pretty lousy, but will do when you're drinking. The bartenders aren't bad, but the wine is super cheap in quality, though I choose not to hold that against them cause it's not exactly a wine crowd. Crowd-wise you can easily go between here and the Stained Glass Pub without inciting any turf wars. They recently started charging $5 at the door which I find pretty ridiculous. That said, some of the theme parties (like Halloween) can be mildly entertaining. But the despair, oh the despair. Now I'm not claiming to be of the soundest mind and body, but this place will having you running for your nearest AA/NA meeting whether you have a problem or not.

Wow.....another place where I thought I've written a review, but haven't. Kudos to you Peter B for the FTR. So many memories with Sole D'Italia. I would say that this is one of my local watering holes. Half price pizza on Tuesdays? HELL YEA! Nothing like splitting a pizza with four friends and spending $4 for it all. I've ordered their wings many times for parties at my place. You wouldn't expect it, but their wings are very good. I can't say what makes them different, but just good overall wings. Ambiance? Probably the last thing on their mind. Just your good old fashioned local pizza joint with tube TV's to watch games in. I definitely come back here on a regular basis.

Don't waist your time. We frequently go to the Olney location but this one is closer to our house. There is no wait staff, you have to go to the counter and order your food including every drink. We ordered the nachos, the menu described it, melted cheese, chips and salsa. We got a bowl of melted Velveeta and a hand full of chips. I had to go the the counter and ask for salsa, I was told it was not included. I pointed out to the "staff" that it was on the menu. I got 2 small plastic cups of "salsa". We got the cheese steak pizza. I can best describe this as a bland pile if cheese with a spoon full of sauce with a hand full of green peppers and a hand full of "steak" on cardboard. Never again, we were the only people in the place..... We now know why

I like this place. For a pitcher of cold beer & a solid pizza it gets the job done. Kind of white trashy yet rather attractive girls working the counter are always pleasant. I get the pepperoni pineapple OR, sun dried tomato & spinach toppings on my pizza and its delicious. Not too greasy and the ingredients are usually pretty fresh. The pitcher is served with those frosted mugs for you to pour your beer into which is a plus. For a pizza joint in a shopping center I have no complaints. ** Recently came back to try the wings for the 1st time... they are da BOMB ! "Kickin BBQ" was just the right amount of heat w/bbq flavor.. meaty wings, lots of sauce, highly highly recommend :-) **

Combo pizza and white pizzas are delish. Authentic, not like the papa johns/pizza hut shit around here. Thank God there is a place close by that delivers real pizza. Fettucine and garlic bread-yuuuum. I'm about to order some right now. The delivery guys are also super sweet too and they always come on time. That didn't sound right.

This is the only place where I have seen a good ol'-fashioned bar fight! The steamed shrimp here is incredible--especially if Andy makes it. They have a juke box that works about 80% of the time (but you'll probably get a fraud alert on your credit card from it), and the bartenders are fun and make delicious shooters (ask for the cinnamon toast crunch). They also have a pretty good beer bottle selection for a dive bar. Overall, a pretty low-key dive bar with *ahem* "interesting" clientele. Take an Uber, try the steamed shrimp, and drink some delicious shooters and great beer.

PLACING AND RECEIVING ORDER- First time i placed an order for this restaurant using yelp and eat24. The ordering process is always smooth and quick and usually the description for food items is good enough to create a picture in your head.... Or so i thought( more in food part of review ) ! After having placed my order it took about 30-40 mins well within the est. time frame no problem ! The delivery guy greeted me with a smile and friendly hello ! FOOD- Today i ordered a Grilled cheese sandwich and an order of the tenders and fries. The grilled cheese was amazing great toasty bread and stuffed with american cheese one of the top grilled cheese sandwiches i have tasted in the area ! The tenders and fries are another story and left me wanting more!!! The "JUMBO" TENDERS ended up being medium sized tenders with no crispy or juicy flavor, instead i got chewy flavorless chicken tenders and the fries were cooked but rather pale and once again flavorless both the tenders and fries lacked much salt ! Final thoughts - The tenders and fries were a large part of the meal and the description for this item on the order menu are not the same. The grilled cheese and the great delivery service were amazing! Overall steer clear of the tenders and fries !

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
